Bianette Perez
Youth Program Director
What does a typical work week look like for you?
My typical work week includes managing the administrative aspects of all our youth programs. This may include meeting with partners and funders, managing budgets and reports. I also supervise and work with an amazing team to provide multiple youth services and programming. One of my favorite things to do in my role is attending youth sessions and learning more about the amazing work they are engaged in. In my role, I hope to empower young leaders and work alongside youth to help create community-driven solutions through community building, education, and advocacy.
How’d you get to LMR?
I started as an intern the summer of 2019 after graduating from UCLA. Then I continued my work at LMR as the Social Justice Specialist. I have always been passionate about leadership development and mentorship and have been fortunate to be able to provide that for other young people in Stockton through my work.
What do you like to do when you're not at LMR?
I'm an avid sports fan who enjoys most sports but specifically soccer, formula 1, and basketball. I also enjoy traveling and hanging out with friends.
What does Stockton mean to you?
Stockton is home and I'm grateful to be able to do the work I love in my hometown.
