Healing Pilipinx Uplifting Self & Others (P.U.S.O.)
Healing PUSO’s mission is to provide accessible mental wellness support through free holistic health services & resources in the South Stockton Community. All services are FREE, and all cultures, ethnicities, and ages are welcome.
Little Manila Rising’s Healing Pilipinx Uplifting Self & Others (P.U.S.O.) (PUSO translated to “heart”) program envisions a world in which the systemic, linguistic and cultural barriers to mental health for our community are dismantled, and our people are given the knowledge and agency to normalize and prioritize their mental health and wellness. We aim to facilitate individual and collective healing from racial, historical, institutional and intergenerational trauma in South Stockton through holistic health programs and culturally-rooted healing. Healing P.U.S.O.’s slogan, “Heal Self, Heal Others,” serves as a reminder for people to take care of their own hearts, bodies, and spirits as they care for others.
